it would look exactly the same way if A Rocker would meet a BackStreet Boys Singer , trying to proove that his POPS is a quality music =), i think we all know how it would end , ONE punch end of story =).

for me progressive music comes from psy trance..
its jast that 6-7 years ago it was psy trance after atmos album came on the scen go for 2 ways
and after some more time its go for more and more
so we have today:
full on
psy progressive
psy dark etc..
but all in all its trance
and some time progressive trance sound more fat and product sound jast beter..
lats take flying rino records..
for years this label product the best trance music but after 5 years naw i see, all this label stuff was: progressive..
u are taliking abut rock or havy rock and rap this is 2 defrant stuff man..

its called simply=POPS
now, progressive comes from PSY??!! ok , then lets put it back so it wont come out .
now....progressive beats are boring , actually , energy flows slow and well its a great style of trance for AFTER party , when every body tired and fall asleep =).
i bet you like TIESTO my friend , hi is a very OPEN MINDED (as you all here like to say).. Guys remember one thing--- YOU open your MIND too MUCH, all your brains will go OUT , try to keep some BRAIN , you might need it later =)

its a jungle out there , the strongest survive , its still the same planet guys , with wars , fears , tears , love , happines and sadness.... every feeling is important .. PSYTRANCE shows every of it pretty MUCH better then Progressive, TRue masters of trance like Simon Posford and GOA GIL never played that kind of music , its not POWERFULL enough to let you FLY , not enogh feelings to actually FEEL .... its a BIG step Backward from PSY trance , i am talking about High quality PSY Trance off course , but hey FOR some TRancers its Enough, SOME NEED MORE ... much MORE energy and FEELINGS in music ....ITS CALLED PSYCHEDELICS, no matter if its ROCK , METALL , OR TRANCE .......

I guess this wonderfull thread of yours comes straight from our little PM conversation.
After I red all u had to say to me in private, and what u answered to Asherun here, I have 2 conclusions:
1. You are a total moron, you disrespect everyone that doesnt think like u, and you way of expressing yourself shows exactly what scene u come from ( here I go to your level boy )
2. I am very happy that u have your parties, your violence energy that u like so much, and for me u can call it psychedelic till end of the world. As long as u dont come to parties I like to be in, with colorful ppl, good energie, dancing girls ( and not 99% of violent males dancing hehe )
And to finish off:
Learn some respect boy. Do your thing and we do ours. If u think that by this post or in this thread u gonna bring proggy ppl to 'your' side, you are very much mistaken. I don't like the music u like, but I understand that my truth is only mine, and u can do whatever u want. I would really hope that u would enjoy what u like and stop harassing ppl that like things different than what u like.

btw one more little point to u, altho u r far beyond redemption, but for ppl like u that still listen:
All those that had little ACID and think that they found the ONLY TRUTH.
01. Also proggy lovers take acid and ENJOY ( unbelievable huh )
02. There is more to acid than being stuck with yer head in a sub of a 20k speaker, it's only make u dumb and senseless.
03. No, I don't like Back Street Boys, but I think that they have more music in them than your favorite hardcore trance bands yo.
04. If you still think that u have found the TRUTH. Keep it, embrace it, share it with others, but don't SHOVE it like that - be sure that when u go this way nobody gonna listen seriously...

Thanks for promoting proggy trance for the right ppl.
And last thing: Goa Gil is a great DJ, and I heard him more then once, first time was more than 10 years ago in Goa, and altho he is very interesting there are more very good DJ's... Tsuyoshi Suzuki, Mark Allen, Sid Shanti and the line is long... I think they all gone progressive with the time..

I think people should stop compare todays music with trance. It got absolutely nothing to do with Trance.
Trance = to reach a state of trance.
Not much music do that without massive doses of drugs to put you in that state! Certantly not agressive music and multi layered music!
IMO the only music that come close to put people into trance (without drugs) is repetetive music and some ambient!
Trance is a term highly overused in this scene! |

Are you talking about psytrance vs progressive trance or full on vs progressive trance cos full on has absolutely nothing to do with psytrance while on the other hand progressive trance has quite much. Full on goes hand-in-hand with happy hardcore ..

And Yuli please be a bit more respectful here, L.iveS.piderD.ance shows his point here and u start to be rude and offend him.
L.iveS.piderD.ance is right most progressive is not good trance (as state of mind) music. Sure there are lot of people who enjoy this music, i like it also from time to time and everyone have the right to listen and enjoy it. For partying most progressive music is not enough for me and lot of other people, so please respect this too.
