Sometime in October at 6362 Metaforce party at 3rd ward, I interviewed some people for my term paper. I don't have contacts but I'm sure some people are on Isratrance so I hope they get it. Anyone else please feel free to read it. it is LOOONNNGGGG but people generally like it. Enjoy.

Ummmm....it's supposed to be a mock ethnography but it's just a final class project so nothing major. |

if you haven't turned it in yet, you need to have a couple people read a hardcopy and circle a few typos that are peppered through.
Its a good overview on psytrance in NYC, but lacks focus on the international aspect of psytrance, as title implies. I think interview questions should have been like "in what other countries have you been to gatherings, parties, or festivals?", "how does psytrance affect your experience of another culture?"
But these things are tough, because you need to explain to your professor what the hell your talking about when you say "psytrance"
I give it a B-

No need to change the paper to fit the title, just change the title to fit the paper. An Enthnography of Psychedelic Dance Culture in New York or somesuch. Or An Overview of the International Tribes of New York City Psytrance. Cut up all the words and rearrange them into a pleasing pattern, you know...

Yeah I know. B- huh? Not terrible but not great either :/ I had a hard time with my focus. My professor kept telling us to be sooooo specific, I didn't want to talk about to many topics but I guess I left out the most important one, hahaha. Thanks for the feed back, I think I want to continue my research even though the class is over, maybe I'll do an actual study ;D
