He is just explaining some stuff about synthesis.. since when is that illegal? You should give him some credits!

guys its all good, it makes no difference to me who watches the videos and who doesnt, wether people like them or not, if you watch them - great - if you dont - great - do as you do, they are there no matter what people think or say, wether you think they are necessary or not.

nice one mate, these are great building blocks.
Imagine learning guitar and when you asked how to play a chord people said "ach, sure A major has been done to death, find your own!" you'd tell them to wise up wouldn't you? I feel the same. It all helps mate, people will make good or shitty music with or without these tools. I say "good shootin' Tex".

^ You're talking about 2 very different things though. Synthesis isn't bound to notes on the instrument you're playing, you pretty much have an endless possibility of sound creation when it comes to synthesis these days. Coming up with your own types of sound is something that should be encouraged more (not trying to take anything away from the OP- soundmagus does great tutorials, this is just a general comment).
If more people took tutorials like this as a jumping off point to use some of the synthesis techniques to create different sounds, that would be great, so hopefully that's what happens.

Yeah, I _could_ try to rediscover the wheel. But I _LIKE_ those squelch sounds. They're classic for a reason. Good job dude. Thanks for the effort to spread knowledge, which I always appreciate.

I dig it Geekhorde! Psy with no squelch is like Metal with no chug or Blues with a full bank account and a happy marriage! It just don't make sense!!! https://soundcloud.com/craic-addict

Thanks for sharing the knowledge dude. Also, pretty easy to adapt to Albino. Principles are the pretty much the same.

yeah the principles for "The Squelch" can be followed in any synth - pretty much.
