Hi everyone,
I’m a PhD student at the University of Salford and I’m conducting my research on the UK psy-trance scene. The main focus of my research is to do with scenes and how psy relates to other electronic dance styles/cultures. I’m interested in whether it is in fact more of a ‘lifestyle’ as has been suggested by some, along with why it is generally ignored by the specialist dance media. My research is essentially split into two- half of it deals with the music itself, and the other half is to do with the the cultural aspect.
Anyway, I have designed a survey and I’d be really grateful if as many of you as possible could complete it. The questions aren’t difficult and it shouldn’t take you too long to fill in.

The idea is that you download it (it’s a Word document), fill it in, save it and then email it back to me. There’s more information on how to do this in the document itself.
Oh, and only fill it in if you live in the UK!
