Psy trance production advice

For this, it's a good exercise to hear a lot of works and learn the most interesting elements. I usually pick some interesting parts of a music and try to reproduce it on ableton. Then whenever I start a new track I hear those little projects to create new patterns of my own.
It's been quite helpfull so far.

use MONO For the bass and kick ,,, no WIDE STEREO, cut the middle of the bass and the kick to free space and its up to u what range do u want to cut.. it depents of ur hear, of ur intension and ur imagination... and ur bass and kick wont get fat if u dont put leads pads other drums into it. in my opinion it s a waste of time to work in a KICK AND BASS... WORK IN eVERYTHING.. psytrance s mandala..it needs the WHOLE elemental.. The kick and bass u are workin now will totaly differente in the end of the track. ( OW AND THATS MY OPINION, THATS HOW I MAKE , thats not a rule)
now if u mean fat as those israelita fullon read the threat mother of al the bases..thats exactly what they teach u there.

yes i can agree with vermeee, dont just work the kick and bassline work with all the elements so u can improve in ur overall production, not just the kick and bassline... because in the end all those elements that ur not working with will result as a problem later on, its like rub P*SSY, lick P*SSY Fuck P*SSY,
best sex = best track
if you just fuck it it wont be too good, you gotta rub it, then lick it and then fuck it, sorry man its just the best example in metaphors, if you just fuck it its gonna be dry, but if you woork that gerl's body hmmm Overall track its goona get wet or should i say that track is gonna slam once its all glued together LOL Im just a perv

 LOL hahaha, I knew everyone was gonna look at me weird hahha but for real you gotta work a track as a whole not just the kick and bassline, its the overall production that makes a track great not just those 2 elements...
i could only compare it at the moment with havin sex with a woman I was a bit shaded and high, Im a perv LOL... heck i've had so many great memories in the studio  matter of fact i had two girls last night at once, that is one thing i love about producing rap, try gettin girls to do dat when ur a psytrance producer, girls love rap producers its a chick magnet out here in Homestead LOL

actually this thread help me a lot! I changed my mixing style as Psyaudionamics & Vermeee and others told me to do, "don't just concetrate on base, mix with everything". so I started to approach sounds and mixing from different view and got good result!
1.KICK (bazzism)
I started with kick and cutting around 500hz and some more equin to make it sound big with a "smooth" click. (Found nice lowFQ areas from "commercial" song and fine tune kick down to 40hz.)
2.PAD (choir)
I cut middle areas and sub fqs and make it sound smooth, wide. (little air at this point).
3.KICK+PAD
found out that kick sound needed some eq to get it balance with pad. kick was big and punchy but sounded like Lo-fi besides PAD.
and pad sounded good to me. I also added CH to boost kick's highs
4.BASS (VB1)
Finally added bass. And it happened to be more than easy next to balanced of kick and pad.
I went this way until i had OH,snare, lead and some fx. There were much more space for instruments and it sounded clear!
This method was about 10x faster than before.
First time I mixed like this. not sure this is "the best" or good way but think this helped me a lot and will find more nice things after this

Get used to A/B ing your processing. Most ears can only pick out various detail changes when juxtaposed.
