Psy-trance coverage in mainstream media?

Here in the UK, psy-trance is still very underground, to the point where even the mainstream dance music magazines such as DJ, Mixmag, Musik, etc barely acknowledge the existence of the psy scene. Is this true across the world? Does anyone have any links to mainstream media articles relating to psy-trance? Please post 'em here!

Used be covered all the time in 95-97 by the UK music press as the 'next big thing'. I think I still have quite a few articles from around then. I remember seeing a Channel 4 News item about 'Goa Trance', and they had interviews with Raja Ram, Simon Posford and showed a snippet of a 'Return to the Source' party in Brixton.

sometimes i see articles about artists. they're not in the big newspapers but mainstream newspapers.

Here in Israel, the media are being "fed" by the police. When trance is on the media, it's almost always drug-related.
When we had the huge trance demonstration in Tel Aviv with 40,000 ppl, there was almost no word on the media about it. |

In Brazil 99.99% of the people don't know the difference between psytrance and any other type of electronic music.
Also, the only way our scene can be on TV is when they're telling rave=drugs.

Here in czech most of the people also doesnt know about psytrance culture. The scene is very underground, but over that the main czech tv station recorded a document called "we and they" about psytrance culture in czech republic.It was quite positive document, about all the people, what is the idea behind, the diferences between psytrance music/parties and between other underground or commercial scene..
Of course they ment drugs, but in very easy way..and this document brought some nu people to our scene.It was played in prime time on the seconf main channel:-))
