You know, attitude like that got Psy Trance what it is today. A dead beaten corpse.
|
|
dead beaten?
man trance is trance and maddona is maddona
trance is nature gigs and maddona is stadiums
trance is (was?) personal, maddona is mtv
with all due respect to all the good artists in other genres, why do we need them?

You have totally missed the point

Simon Posford and Maddona??? Are you kidding? that sounds like suicide for Psymon Posford, please no no no.
Madonna represents the typical mainstream superstar that sits comfortably on her throne while the sheepish masses throw money and worship her ass if she is above it all. She is probably too important in her world to talk and connect with normal people right? Well I think that if an artist thinks they are too important to step down from their throne and go dance with everyone on the dancefloor then they don’t belong in the psychedelic trance scene. I hate all that MTV, Hollywood, superstar ass kissing.. Honestly fuck all that.
OK Rant aside, how about this:
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan , OTT, Alpha Blondy and Zakir Hussain

i wonder if you ever spoke a single word with madonna?? how come you so sure she is such a elitist snob??? if you dont know that person well enough, why call her so many names, all created by your imagination, and your imagination only...
i see madonna as a open minded artist, and a really agressive one..which i belive wouldnt mind at all doing a collaboration on a underground scene...
and if it was possible (if they werent dead =/)
a collab with godly artists like Jaco Pastorius, Pat Metheny, Steve Vai...or even Rush, those would make some deadly psychodelic progressive aural "feeling in heaven" stuff...surely
EDIT: im betting 5 bucks on Pavel!
  un-fucking-believable |

When I hear stuff that posford has done with Michele Adamson, it's not too far off of frozen by Madonna, which was a good track. So to all you unimaginitive bores out there. That's a nice idea. However I don't think madonna would do it for less than $5,000,000 so... lame.
I'd love to hear Mum vs. tripswitch.
Glooex vs. Lisa Gerrard.
Air vs. Fog.
Osom vs. Isahn.
Triptych vs. Incubus.
Sesient vs. Sasha
Astrix vs... A shotgun.

trent reznor and sensient, industrial meets dark intelligent beats...
John Digweed and Antix ....

Whoever thinks that Madonna and Michael Jackson dont worth our attention because they are mainstream then simply he/she doesnt have a clue about music and its history.
When Madonna and Michael Jackson where involved in music projects and songs thousands of years ahead of their time psy trance didnt even existed as an idea.
The reason actually that Madonna and Michael Jackson became so mainstream is because they were so original and innovative and ahead of their time that the people instantly loved them because they found some new amazing music to listen to instead of the same usual crap.
Implying that someone is bad just because he is worldwide famous and even mainstream is just a stupid thing to claim.
Billy Jean and Beat It by Michael Jackson and Frozen by Madonna are ten times more psychedelic than any track of the psy trance scene not to mention about their innovation and high quality production.
And dear Aluxe you claim that Madonna is a hollywood super star who lives in her own world and doesnt care about other people or her fans and that it would be a suicide for Simon Posford to collaborate with her.I guess that like the rest of the forum you have never been in contact with Madonna but have you ever been in contact with Simon Posford or tried to get in touch with him?You should be ready for some great suprises trust me.

LOL
Actually I respect both Madonna and MJ and even listen to their music sometimes.
But it's not very psychedelic at all.
Anyway..
