the only thing I like to collect are osc waveforms and -if- there are accoustic drum samples in the drums folders (that isnt the case 99%)..like cymbals or snares.. than I always like to listen to it, if they are something for me.
Sometimes I listend only to check what other guys created that sells tbh. Collecting myself.. only waveforms rather, also because have enough selected drum elements already.

One shot drums&percs or something to chop out, but mainly I'm in for one shots, cleanest possible, I don't like too much effected stuff, only if it sounds really good, most of the times there's just unnecessary dirt all over the place(probably lifted from some track).
