hey mate,

the bass sounds a bit odd on my phones. its hollow and a bit too plastic sounding for that genre imho. try to mix in more of the low end content of the bass to make it groove with the kick and shake your booty.
your elements could be somewhat more connected and your melodie a bit less edgy, more flowing. its just what i feel maybe you want it exactly like it is, but thats what i would look into.

keep grooving, you´re on a good way           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel

what do you mean by hollow? pls don't tell there is reverb hearable

yeah an overall flow is missing somehow at least when the triplets come in...it often happens that I change the style of the track within the break, don't really want that as I want a consistent sound ...but I am working on it as the bass doesnt make that much problems to me anymore

bass and kick sound nice and full to me on my monitors. mix sounds pretty good too, nothing jumps out as being too quiet or too loud. Good job!

well with hollow i mean the eq or generally processing of the kick and bass. it has a lot of mids and not enough bass and subbass content for my ears. it is not thick enough for my taste at least. its "thin" or "hollow" sounding, obviously very subjective words to describe something. i am not talking about reverb at all, just the frequency balance of the bass. try to add some subs in the 50-100 hz area with a notch eq just for interest and see if it makes the sound rounder and fuller. just a suggestion, maybe you like it like this ?

glad it's not the reverb which appeard to strong on my headphones when mixed over monitors first

It could be my monitors which are in the area of 40-55hz somehow quieter than the rest, but I cutted my kick at 40 and bass at 55, as I wanted the bass clean sounding without any rumble.
I would be interested in a sound that has some more impact on the lows but still clean sounding without much rumble, ideas?

thanks for the feedback you two

In my earphones the base sounds abit thin(and they are quite boomy).
I dont think its in the 40-55 hz area, i agree with klippel, add some around 80-100.
Perhaps a little around 300.

I would play bit more with the perc´s, And improve the snare, beef it up a little.
You could make the mix abit fuller if you either dident high pass your sounds so much, or added a synth which play a little lower(not in the kick and bases freq, but maybe hi passed to 120-150hz.
