Hi all, I'm new on this part of the forum, but since I am moving to d.c. I'd thought I should come and say hello here...... : )
Can any of you give me some info on the scene and party-organizers in the area, - heard baltimore is okay-, hope there are any : )

Hey Stars,
hope you had a good time at Voov. I hope you saw the thread about the festival in WV, that should be only about 4 hours or so from DC and it's definetly worth checking out.
http://www.gaian-mind.com is where you can find the info on that.
I think there are also some parties happening in Pittsburgh once in a while, although I'm not sure exactly how far that is from where you are.
Maybe someone else can share some better info about that area...

Make sure you check out Yoshi Toshi on M street (Georgetown)- Really cool music store and record label. You can find lots of party fliers and weird people.
The Adams Morgan area had some really cool places to hang out last time I was there. U street too.
You probably know how great the musuems are but make sure you go to the International Spy Museum! That place rules.
Anyway dude good luck and have fun.

thanks for the replies, I 'll check things out and we' ll stay in touch, ehm just very busy at the moment running around d.c. searching housing and more practical crap like that.....
