Hello ppl! I'm thinking about going to work in Ibiza from a couple of weeks from now thill the begining of july, and I was wondering how the psy scene is over there.
I know there are a few artists living there, but are there big psy parties in the summer?
Anyone can help with contacts from ppl organizing parties there?

there are a few private events.but absolutly no big parties in the style you are looking for (psyT ) here in Ibiza.

Ibiza is not the right place for Psy-Trance
This island is full of parties, but they not playing psy, maybe some progress trance and full-on is the limit.
there are some private parties, but not something special...
the scene the is around club music and not underground. |

ibiza have a rich psychedelic history, but unfortunately, the politics & the guardia civil, kill the germ with his repression, and now is very dificult enjoy a "big" party in the island....but the germ still on the blood of the natives |

Indeed,Droid.
Besides there is quite a lot of trance culture but the politics in the Island is perfectly clear&sparkling like water.
NO TRANCE!!!
The reason???
Association between discotheques and police,corruption basically.
They have Manumission,privilege and some other crap to make official money and the trance parties can steal people from this clubs.
Once in a while you can be lucky and go to some private event very small.
 My fake plants died, because I did not pretend to water them. |

thats oretty sad i was hoping to go there this summer for the weekend. . .ill be living in alicante but i thought there might be some trance in ibiza.

Doesn´t the Tribe of Frogs organize indoor parties in Ibiza? I got that information on another forum that´s only about Ibiza.
Anyway, i´ll be there for about two weeks in july, if anyone else has other info about psy parties there, indoor or outdoor, please share.

Check out the north part of the island, you won´t find any flyers but you will meet some dudes on the north beaches that will know
Also check out the "hippie" fleamarket, they also know what´s going on. |

@droid: Yeah, that´s the place i heard of, it´s on the north part of the island, right? Is it near San Juan, San Carlos or neither?
@Goa Constrictor: I also heard about the hippie market, is it the one near San Carlos that you´re talking about?
