what do you mean???
the track is my own production. i tried to push the limits as far as i could, to stretch my imagination, to create soundscapes that had never tried, keeping the cosmic feeling inside and attempting to stimulate the listener's mind, through the hearing process...
19 minutes evolving, progressively altering, creating a story, with many different elements and sonic sculptures.
i just made a video as well, in order to pay my respect to this amazing genre and the great moments i had listening to it, all these years!!
months of work, in order to finish all this audiovisual experience, but i think it is worth it!! (at least i like it) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7r1bgnNT0-U&fmt=22

it wasn't sure in your first posdt if you made the video or the music, or the video AND the music
i listened fast but will again and comment in full, seems very cool!

reminds me of something like planet ben in the old days, long long tune with long progression. in some spots i was a bit bored, but overal good stuff. convincing for what it is.
the video is cool too

I like the style , This is an real goa for sure !
Just work on your bass kik (More power and here) Cant be that atmospheres and those are holding the track .. Ill give you example , Track No1 Start cool with the kik (Almost cant hear any bass there) And listen now in 07:26 (Barely can hear the kik - Sure compare the beginning) Bass .. I think the bass 'Forgot to come to work' , Whre he is .. ? We want hear somthing down there too , Make a good one to keep us in , Somthing to hold your track (Could hear same thing in your second track) So Goa goa but bass and kik must be in the front and the base of the all track - Not the goa sounds around .
Where the Hh loops and Percussions ? .
Work !

thanks for the feedback dear cardinal!!
first of all, no percussion was included in the track.
it was my personal preference, and the track has so much layers, that i think that percussion wasn't necessary. (in many parts there are almost 8 layers ...!!! -subbass, kick, drive lead, pads, fx, synths...) -- even now, i experience new sounds appearing and evolving in the track hehe)
the bass, is subtle, you are right, but i didn't want a bass full of drive and punch. i wanted a bass creating vibrations! same with the kick-no super punchy kick, just a heart-beat like kick... it is isn't a dancefloor track, it's a concept track, creating a psychedelic atmosphere, while taking the listener and drowning him in a world of mysterious soundscapes and artifacts!!!!
keep the spirit alive!!! and the feedback of course!!

mate, you made a really good piece of work here. imo this is all about the evolving of the story and the sound asthetics that clearly are remeniscent of good old psychedelia in a very clear outfit. i like that you do not push things with a pounding baseline as it is done nowadays mostly, it gives this story room and character together with the everbubbling sparkles in the background.. cool vid as well to go with it, fits nicely.
some things i would personally change however: highpass or shelve out the low freqs of the leads to make room for the kick and bass, sometimes the synths (and thus the mix) sound a bit muddy due to the low freq content.
add some mystic pad/hook here and then to spice shed some light into the mystic sometime here and there (especially in the first part).
just as a good curry needs some sugar to taste full you could use some light in the dark here and there..
anyway, interesting and inspiring for me
bye the way, what synth do you use and what effects for the bubbles atmos and the huge stereo image? (sounds analogue)

this is true. i tried to do my best in this part and generally the mastering. i think that the sound overall is very rich and crystal clear, but there are a few flaws as you mentioned. i think that these mostly a mastering expert can fix.
the synths that i used are so many...:
ni absynth, rob papen predator (awesome synth-full of parameters), vanguard, z3ta, zebra, synth1
there are so many layers, that it took me months to finish the track...
thanks for the imput, and ask me anything else you wish.

the mastering man will not be able to cut off low freqs of the synths covering the kick/bass area mate. not without affecting the overall quality. better to go back and highpass the synths.
