Before the 80s... have mention this one as it's one that's contrary to all of the lame one sample renditions out there.

JJ Cale's Cocaine ... remixed by Terrafractyl

or it might be Clapton's version... not sure.

either way ... found this on:

psychedelic trance is created from this kind of music by cutting the vocals because they sound like shit, now they are taking the vocal and make a new track.

this kind of rmx is the worst thing that can happen to the psy music

Couldnt agree more, i mean WTF!!!??? if im at a party and the dj plays lets say a lady gaga tune remixed il throw at him the first thing i find!

:: Dead Or Alive - U Spin Me Around (Hujaboy Reemix)
:: War - Low Rider (Save The Robot Remix)

None of them are good, except Low Rider Remix.
Perhaps just for the fact that it reminds me a great tune.

Thanks buddy
I also did a rmx of a 70's funk tune 'Only so much oil' by Tower of Power

I reckon a good tune is a good tune.

but yeah more often than not, its done for cheap thrills and as an easy way to make a tune stick in peoples heads.

oh and Neuron Compost - Tockz eek is a pretty awesome rmx of Britany spears toxic... epic track
