Just need a lil info .. i'll be visiting San Francisco towards Jan end... was just wondering about the psy scene out here...
Is there any place that would be of interest to a psy head?
Apart from psy, any chilled out places to visit... or something to do... somewhere to hang around...
I'd really appreciate the info as this would be my first visit to the states.

hello bangalore boy... yes there is a psy scene in frisco...just keep ure eyes on the forum for parties.you'll find one for sure.. goa gil's birthday bash just happened recently at sfo

SF has one of the most mature psytrance scenes in the US. SF and New York City have had psy for years, while its been relatively recent that other scenes have popped up.

Sna Francisco still has quite an active scene, though its been having tough times with indoor venues lately.
While there will stilll be parties, and deffinatley check this forum for info, due to this venue shortage, the frequency of parties during the winter months will undoubtably not be as much as other months.
There is always the SF weekly event Synchronize which is every wednesday night.

from my visits to the states, i would say SF is the best area for psy culture and music in USA. Wicked vibes and propper parties. reminds me of back home in europe.

for real, San Fransico has got the psy scene! if your looking for psy parties in the U.S. then your going to the right place. in new york we got it going also. we get some killer parties one a month, once every other month in new york. plus there has been an increase in the amount of dark artist that are coming out here, this is very good. but SF most definitely has shit on lock.
i think (im in NY so i dont know for sure) that there are one or two weekly party out there (i think one is on wednesday..) plus there a bunch of psy artist that reside in that beautiful city (ocelot, the nommos, Dylalien, Quasar, etc, etc) so im sure there will be a party for you. |
