I donßt recomment astrix so mush because the basslies are bad monophony. Their better than some other psytrance groups today but i recomment the man with no name and kox box and astral projecttion - Amen - The Nexus |

Hi, I'm don't really know the trance side of psy very well as I prefer chill/ambient/dub releases. But I would agree with those who have mentioned Hallucinogen already, and would also recommend Protoculture, who has some gorgeous tracks out there and whose album Refractions seems highly regarded by many a trance officionado.
Good luck in your quest XX |

I think he asked about "psy", not pop

Toi Doi - Technologic (Avatar Records 1998) !!!!!!!!!!!
Toi Doi - Psyring Test (E-Watt Records 2005)
http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/ewr/ewr1cd002.html
I dont know how much deeper one can achieve than this! Toi Doi pushes the edges and makes the most psychedelic trance i have ever come to known!! So try to get it, it seems Technologic is out of print most places but the new one above is also one hell of a good album!

Marquis-
I definately have spent more time listening to the same styles as you in the past...
I kno that this doesn't answer your question about psy-psy, but check out Ticon...
I enjoy the Aero cd a lot; think it's considered progressive |
