there are a lot artists, working that direction:
mood deluxe, far too loud, amb, robosapiens, digitalis(shakta), rex, kiwa, the ride, dascyllus, devil theory, introspective...

Quality breaks but not quite psychedelic imho |

why, cause it wasn't written by "psy" artists or released on "psy" labels? What a load of crap. This guy's music shits all over crappy psytrance artists attempts at breakbeat & is a FUCKLOAD more psychedelic. You *can't* tell me "Squiggle" isn't psychedelic!!!
|

totally with you sam
wicked psychedelic tunes from non "psy" producers... Jnr Hacksaw and Tipper are far more interesting than the usual tagged psy stuff.
to be honest...I prefer Plump Djs or Paradox 3000 to Mood Delux...the so called psy break scene is not even close to the quality and the power of the real break stuff...
far too loud are nice but you can spot too many fullon trance style elements in the production...

Absolfreakinglutely...some of the here named "psybreakz artists" don't even deserve to smell the crap of people like Stanton Warriors, Evil Nine, Themroc, Plump Dj's...and the list goes ON
The level of production, the vibe, the turnatblism, popularity worldwide, fees...everything.
Is like comparing a Mini with a Ferrari Testarossa...get on with it, I mean...I can imagine the face of some of the mentioned artists by checking some track made by an "psybreak artist" and asking..very funny, now show me the track you were saying was nice.

some tracks from Carl Finlow aka Sillicon Scally. He does double project, releases under his real name are more psychedelic, not all, but few of them are really amazing tracks. Sillicon Scally is more "clubbing", but among them you can find also some masterpieces.
And Chromatone aka Morphonix does awsome tracks, it was already told, but it is worth to repeat.
