The first time I saw him (at the Gaian Mind Festival) he played downtempo similar to his album style, but I saw him a couple weeks ago in Portland and he played a midtempo set that was very danceable. It was sort of like progressive psy but a little slower. Both sets were incredible; I think he changes up his style depending on the setting and type of event. I'm sure whatever he plays will be quite nice... |

I have yet to ever go to this, and I still really want to someday. I would go to this just for Richie Hawtin, Roy Davis, Jr, and Michael Geiger. |

The lineup for the DEMF this year is amazing!!! 
Unfortunately I'm not able to make it up this year. 
If I were to go, these are the artists that I would like to check out: Richie Hawtin (I've seen him spin at least 5 times, but the man never disappoints), Photek, Derrick Carter, Rob Acid, Josh Wink, Orb, Tortured Soul, Mark Broom, Collabs (Speedy J/Chris Liebing), Dan Bell, Donald Glaude & Neil Landstruum.

It wont be during DEMF, but look forward to a possible psy party in Ann Arbor or surrounding area sometime in late may, or june. I'll say more when I know more. |
