Visiting Amsterdam over the weekend. Any suggestions for good shops where I can buy good psy and smoking stuff?

Well to buy some good psy you must be here:

Groove Connection, I got my GOW - Tits on Fire album there back in 2004, since I never forgot this shop.
To smoke well I can recommend you de Rokerij shops there are on 4 different locations. But surely try to avoid big coffieshops near the "Central Station"and the red light district it's only for tourists (expensive and bad quality) have fun.

After asking the guys from the forum about amsterdam I was reccomended to check out
kokopelli smartshop for goodies
GreenHouse effect for chillin-amnesia!
As far as psyshops are concerned I havent found anything worth...
Have fun brother

Thanks for the info.
I was more looking towards shop to buy psy clothwear and maybe pouches etc.
Last time when I was there (for about 8 hours due to flight connection), I went to couple of shops where they were selling bongs.....

One of the best coffees shops in Amsterdam is The NooN.Located near the busy Leidseplein and it's also close to the Rijksmuseum.The list is superior....

do all the coffeshops close at 1 am ?? ... is there anywhere I can chill and smoke all night before my morning flight to bombay 
btw how safe is it smoking at vondel park at night

No coffieshop is open all night. smoking at Vondel park is still public place and if you got catched you could have some troubles, I mean not serious troubles but better watch out, btw. the city is full of dealers and they are more watching them then tourists smoking a spliff, enjoy your time there
