any1 knows about this program
i am learning sound lessons and i am studing on this prograM
but i have a p.c in my house and i want to play with this a bit when i am outside of studing.
does any1 knows where i can download the demo ???

no demo only the high cost of this product in all forms of pro-tools props. (afaik)

not so corect there is a protools free demo for pc only, very limited version but for getting knowing the soft is prety good .

go to their site:

go there to "pro tools demo" (upper menu section)
get it for free, but it doesnt work for win xp, only earlier versions
btw, pretty professional and cool program
i really enjoyed it
it doesnt support vsti, but its tdm plugins way more powerful and useful
try maxim plugin, see what im talking about

the pro-tools without a digi is nothing on a pc..
it is great you're trying to find some help to yourself, but you better ask your teacher to help you - you pay for this ... don't you ?
another thing: all the audio/music programs are built not to make your life harder, so if u want to know more about which menu does what, and how to do this in 1 click - simply print out manual - here:

i think that using the Protools without a Mac with a digidesign Sound card will give u a small ratio of it's power (Still a LOT of power though).
but i think there is a free version for pc, but check the list, if u have and part of your computer in that list DO NOT install the program as it will shit your computer BAD!
(e.g. the VIA chipset)
