was at the party till bout two had to leave unexpectedly, the local dj s played some nice tunes and banged it till i was there..
need feedback on protocultures set..can some one update ..anyone?? |

Well for me it was easily one of the greatest parties i've been to ever! The night started quite slowly, wasn't really getting into the music until about 4 when Fridler was finishing up and then when ozzy came on, thats when the night started for me. Very powerful, full on trance that i have come to love about ozzy's sets. Was just waiting for him to drop the Van Halen track and when he did, the dancefloor just erupted! It was craazy.
Then came Protoculture who gave a brilliant performance, loved every minute of his live set and dj set. Nice and melodic yet extremely powerful. Brilliant.
SCS up next and he was simply going off - I had such a nice time just having a boogy, and chilling out with mates listening to the wicked tunes. Same goes for Sensient who was next and after that my legs would not allow any more work.
Then came the hill - fuck that was a mission to scale in the morning. Jeez.
Overall I had an absoloute blast! Top effort Infinity Productions! |

firstly, to jase and the organisers....massive KUDOS!!!! you actually got to realise a dream of yours and put on a fantastic party with a quality vibe, quality crowd, and some damn fine music!!
decor - sally you keep blowing me away, i had seen most of these pieces before but the planetscape or plane-arium as me and kracka called it was simply amazing. the whole place looked amazing and it was a huge area to cover with only minimal pieces so i hope the was enough visual stimuli for everyone.
Kracka - again mate it was a pleasure to work with you running from side to side seeing about different things to put in different spots and having turn for turn at throwing the rope through those trees. always a pleasure and i have no doubt we will get the chance to do this again and again!!!!
music -
macka - really nice set to start us of, some cool downbeat stuff and then a few classics mixed with a few newies...well done mate.
red echo/ marty - also really nice tunes, and some good mixing in there too.
coombaya - really good set mate, heavy as fuck for early on but you mixed it up beautifully...i have no doubt some big things are just around the corner for you.
ten ton tiger - hadnt heard you guys before or even know who you were but kept loooking at jase and saying how groovy is this.....quality stuff guys, keep it up!!!
redline - nice to meet you finally. banging tunes as always, not so much my cup of tea but as usual your mixing was flawless.
fridler on the roof - well i just want to say thanx for the opportunity to play guys....really appreciate it.
in case you didnt realise i had a ball up there as always and hope that you all enjoyed it!
ozzy- banging full on as usual, really had the crowd going and got them ready for a perfect morning.
nate/protoculture - live set was out of this world, really fucking crystal clean!! was better than your set in brasil and was an absolute pleasure to hear the system at nearly full power for your magical tunes. your dj set was also of bloody high quality, sorry i had to turn it down with a while to go when the cops came!!
i just want to say that nate is one of the nicer producers i have had the pleasure of meeting, extremely understanding and happy to help whenevre possible. its a pleasure having you at my place mate or is that nate!!!
scs- drew, well i was a little surprised by what i heard, a lot more proggy than your older stuff, most of it i really enjoyed but i would love to have been there for the impromptu last set of the party to hear a few of your oldies that i know and love so much!!!
tim - unfortunately i left just after you beganbecause i had a wedding to go to, so apologies but as usual i heard good things about your set!
Lastly, i just want to say a big well done to infinity productions, you set the bar very high for yourselves and managed to accomplish everything that you wanted to so a masssive pat on the back is deserved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well after a months and months of planning and day of stress the party actually happened... i never thought it would but it actually did... people actually got in their cars and drove the distance to come to one of the most amazing experiences of my life... this weekdn gone was truely the most inspiring, funny, uplifting, stressful and enjoyable of my life...
my thanks go to so many people it is just stupid...
noz and skazi, thanks boys we did it i really appreciater everything you did for the party and all the shit you put up with from me...

mike - thanks mate, good warm up and a nice start to hopefully a few more gigs...
marty - well done, nice tunes, nice mixing wicked to have you on board and thank you so much for organizing our 'doof at monash' day.. great idea!!!
coombsey - you farken ripper, altho it was only 10.30 when you got on you banged them out as only you could do... sweet tunes sweet mixing and a energy behind the decks that i know and love so much... thanks also for helping with the clean up mate and driving me bro home... ta!
brendon and ronnie - boys big ups... like i said to you on the night that was farken awesome... you boys groved and moved the crowd in such as different way to other djs it was quite remarkable... nice to meet you and i am sure wwe will be seeing heaps more of you guys in the furture...
roy - cheers mate for some banging tunes, nice meet you and thanks for helping us with the promotions...
dave - mate, cuz you are the legend firstly thank you so much for the effort you put in setting up and dancing with me all night, running around filling genis, toilets and making sure the party ran like clock work, i really appreciate your help... now to those tunes.... faaaaarrrrrrkkkkk... you have become an international dj, the way you called to everyone at the marty to come back to the dance floor was amazing you had everyone shacking theirs arses so hard that half the people who came on the weekend cant even sit yet... thanks mate!!!
ozzy - its been ages since i had heard you play and i wasnt dissapointed banghing set as per usual... unfortunate about the smoking device but i am sure you will get it back... thanks for the support it was much appreciated
nate - thanks kid... i loved every seocnd of nates live set, so good and he is such a nice bloke.... cant wait for friday night and sunday morning kido
then it was the little master - drew mate as you played you first trrack i thought to myself hmmmm this is fresh... fark this is phat... fark this is new drew and i love it well done mate on throwing out a whole heap of new tunes on such a big occasion, everyone loved them and i cant wait to have them to play in the car over and over again... also cheers for helping with the clean up even tho that boags never left your hand...
also sorry about the over sized lady man trying to tell you she liked your music that much she wanted you to turn it up... i softened her up and she actually was quite upset that she distrubed your set...
timmmeh - brilliant, i love your struff mate as you know you are my sensi... sickenly phat and twisted tunes, and that breaks track is one of my favourites at the moment 'break down'... cheers for the helping hand cleaning up and thanks for all the support
pete - well first time around and i reckon you are the 3rd musketeer with drew and tim, your tunes are so farken pahat and clean and so perfect for a 24 degree afternoon stomp... thanks also for playing monster and then starting the tribute to drew set...

thanks to a - ron aka edit for designing the most perfect flyer... you have a massive talent mate that everyone sould get to see more and more, thanks for you help through the party and for helping cleaning up and for showing me those eyes every once in a while...
thanks also to prolight and sound, they are so professional, so easy to work with and suck nice blokes... and what a farken rig...
thanks to sally g, your art work is wicked, thanks for allowing us to use it and i am sure we will see more of your stuff around in the parties to come!!!
thanks to all the crew!!!!!! and a special thanks to my folks for manning the checkpoint through nates set...
my apologises for the undercover cops, i did run around to everyone i could to inform you all of their presence, farken pigs and i also apologise for the little misprint on the flyer regarding travel time, i also apologise for not being able to crack the living shit out of the rig all night but these things always happens...
finally i would just like to say that this was the most amazing party i have ever been to... so many friendly smiling faces so much warmth and good vibes that are still so obvious to me today jsut as they were at 645am on sunday... thank you everyone who braved the longish drive and made this the best weekend i have had ever...
