Nate Raubenheimer aka Protoculture is considered the ‘boy wonder’ of the trance scene. Nate was introduced to electronic music at the tender age of 7. From studying jazz and classical piano as well as sound engineering after school, Nate has developed a unique and uplifting sound that has found its way onto many of South Africa’s trance stages to a rocking and thrilling response. Nate is considered “the most exciting new talents to emerge throughout the global outdoor trance party scene”.
His first international trance release was “superhighway samurai” (2001) which was included on the spiral trax compilation “mechanism”. He released 3 more killer tracks through Nano Records “emergence” and the enormously popular “new directions” on "dilation".
And now, Protocultures long awaited debut album Refractions finally hits the global party scene. Refractions' has been described as a brilliantly produced, heartwarming sunshine joy, a rollercoaster ride... a masterpiece, with warm atmospheres and madly driving bases, with uprising acid lines and oldschool psytrance melodies. This is the album that many of the planet's top psychedelic trance djs have been scrambling for, knowing that it is destined to become an instant classic. With gigs following in Mexico and across Europe, there is no doubt Nates uplifting psychedelic tunes are in hot demand.
Infinity production is proud to have the opportunity in putting on its first outdoor party, and with the likes of Protoculture, Sun Control Species, Sensient and Ozzy, there will be no doubt that this party will be one to remember.
We also have much pleasure in introducing a brand new site to the psy-scene that is only 1 hour from Melbourne. Backing onto national park lands and with many open lush clearings, as well as small clearings within the gigantic tree canapes. Infinity Productions sees this location as one of the most beautiful BUSH environment ever seen. The dance floor will be with in 100's of 30 meter high trees creating ample shade and creating the perfect atmosphere for what should be a great party.
