on every trance cd i buy, i cd in the cd booklet names of the artists, copyrights, etc...
but i don't understand what is "promoted by"
for example
in the infected mushroom new cd, in the cd booklet u can find that it's written there: "promoted by: limor mazor"
what is that "promotion"?
what is the role of the promoter?

Public relations- getting the music to the media, exposing ppl to it, etc. etc.
An important part in a release too often overlooked by most trance labels.
