One thing that really sucks is to put everything in the same bag...its Full-On so lets bring it down !!!! People, there are good artists producing in this style....and to my opinion in a very psicadelic way (much more than some so called prog. acts or even than the new vague of Electro/Minimal disguise as trance). So the drumm/Bass is always in the same pace/rythum...so what? Its a feature of the style - all styles have their "cliches". I dont know about you guys but i had massive time in live-acts by U-Recken or Syzmix just to name a few....constant travelling!!!!!
Moreover put artists like these two in the same category than the cheesy chemical crew and the rest of the israeli "comercial-on" acts,shows a bit of lack of attention towards the music.
Im no Full-On big fan but im not ready to "hang" the style right now....let it evolve.
Like Stregone said, i dont mind having Full-on in a party right there in the middle of all the styles as long as it is good....

So there is a lot of so called ,,full-on" that is good music with soul, with psychedelic enhancment abilities. ..
My only question is, why in earth is it called full-on? Why not simply call the psychedelic trance music that has a strong forward progression and that can be party pleasers 'PSYTRANCE'. WTF is full-on? If it's psychedelic and have a 4/4 3/4 or freestyle beat it's psytrance. I'm sorry, but I personaly dipite the word full-on and everything it stands for. psytrance. Can't we just call psychedelic music psychedelia? And (I will) call trance music with psychedelic influenses but that isn't much psychedelic 'full-on'. I see so many people saying, 'oh this band, this band and this band is great Full-On music!!' .. No man, it's psytrance. Oh why do I botter?
Full-On is just modern Euro-trance. Chemical music, not psychedelic music. Isra-trance

Remember the first full-on compilations? Wasn't very 'full-on' compared to todays full-on.
np: RAZ - In God Hands .. great full-on, or is it JE! psytrance music? psytrance can not be boxed because it's so varied, from psykovsky, green nuns, mwnn, hallucinogen, Talpa, filteria, ka-sol. It's all under the HUGE umbrella named psytrance.

wtf is full-on? .. then again you could properly reply 'wtf is psychedelic trance music?'

but...
*considering the prog that boldly belongs to the psytrance scene*
...looking at iboga, zenon, ccr, horns and hoofs, the list does not go on (i have to be afraid). it needs higher amounts of innovative labels, identically same as the case of the pure-psytrance scene nowadays, which sadly gets stuck thanks to the fullon epidemy.
(btw sorry for low patterns of offtopic here but eveything has a connection with something sometimes)

It's today's expression of fullon that is not the same feeling as Goa, apart from that i love the fullon beats and really make me dance but the story today is not my piece of cake...I prefer Goa for that feeling but then Goa Lacks the beat! so it's endless as to what we might like or not all i think is that if it is good music it's just good you know no need to call it something it's music with hearth!

yeah
I can understand why somes peoples are boring with full on, too many crap releases my god!!
But you can always find real expert and full talented in this matter.
Is like progressive can be boring too if is not good quality music i mean....
You just need to find the killers nothing more, I know minnimum 25 full on masters.
to show a example last years Spain deliver top releases via labels like 3dvision, materia, nutek
I talk about 20 cds in 2007, is big, with real quality music.

we need not debate on this issue. there is some great full on. the style doesn't suck but people who recreate stuff that has been already heard...well, they suck big time!
