And that stupid bassline they always use
and always singing about something bad that happened!!!
Yeah, kill rock!! always the same guitar sound and same structure of the music!
Yeah, kill Ambient!

When hard rock and metal started becoming popular rock didnt die. just because some people prefer it
Trends die off, for sure. but you cant saw nothing new can be born without something dying off
For instance, probably the trendy "hi-tech fullon" will die off because its just a trend.
But there will be still people that will make fullon
Just not the trendy kind, because people will eventually get sick of it.
All dj's i spoke to that have some kind off success comfirm this fact. Most of the time they are still playing some trendy music because it is the reason why they got booked in the first place. but also they are interested in something more intelligent and unique within the marges of fullon.

i.e - as long as the morons making "cheesy" full-on continue to have their jaws grinding and their noses stuck in powder...and continue believing what they are creating is great this genre will not be killed...simple
HOWEVER...Night time music & proggy is, and will continue to take over...period & thank god

I'm sorry but because of the petrol prices jump, the ticket are going to cost 1.200.000 dollars
Anyway about all those discussion....
As our world is not changing yet, I'm sure full-on will continues to exists, as many big labels started doing big money on that( ever seen a vision quest party photos?? or a Dali or Skazi show?), is the boys or girls band style applied to psytrance... nothing more nothing less
Good artists already known adapted their sound to do on that direction and continuing doing money...
What I think it's gonna happen, is a division of the scene...
We cannot continues to see the " Goa Scene " as the same scene of the last 20 years... electronic is a well known scene now trance scene maybe a little less, but if you ask anybody, they will know at least a minimum what it is... that mean, more people, more variety of people, and also more styles of music...
As you can see people who likes their style, are more and more involved just in their styles....
How many people complain on the biggest festivals about "the house(proggy) on the day not psychedelic at all" or "the same fucking full-on and not enough dark" or "that shitty dark in the night" ??
Every year more...
This mean we cannot continues to call all this like we call it....a goa party...or psychedelic trance party
We have to say and call the things in the correct way...
You make old times sounds party? this is a goa party
You make a proggy party? This is a progressive, house party
You make dark? This is a Dark-psy party which has nothing to do with a trance party
You make a full.on party? This is a Full-on commercial party which can be advertised on MTV and VIVA TV
You make tehcno minimal? You make a minimal party...
So everybody knows where he goes, what he pays for, people will bitch because an artist has made a bad live or set and not because the music wasn't what he was expecting for...
OR you do an ELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTIVAL, with 3 or 4 floors, so people can choose on the place what to go listen for...
This is what should happen....
I personally still organise party with the concept " right music for the right moment" it means it starts with chill-out, continues with proggy, goes on with full-on, then hi-tech full-on, then dark-full-on, then darkpsy, then full-on, then melodic full-on, then again proggy and so on...
Results? people bitching about dark, or not enough dark, or proggy is like house, or that dj spinned minimal instead of proggy....
I say fuck off... you didn't liked? don't come next time.... and people always come back... because finally the party rock big time and they comes anyway...
But results is I'm tired of hearing people bitching all time...
People who comes and takes drugs... so the one who took lsd don't like dark because it makes him totally fucked up, the one who took speed want more dark because is faster... the one who took coke would like more full-on or proggy because he dance better on that, the drunken want melodic full-on because they are dumb asses....
So fuck off, I will finish to do reggae party so everybody smoke joints chill out and have fun!

music without spirit is not music at all!
the good thing about it is that finally most of the people here got fed up with non-innovative music and have enough souls and balls to discuss about it, so that's very good for the scene ))))
i don't know about prog and i doubt that it's progressing, but night time and morning psychedelia are defenitely taking over intellectually for sure.
and yeah who said that goatrance (the one that almost got killed from fullon) is dead...it's massively coming back to the roots, so be prepared!

oh prog is progressing, for Me more than any other genre...
look at ace ventura, perfect stranger, big wigs, antix, sensient, shadow fx, SCS, the list goes on and on....
as far as zmandan talking bullshit...that is progressing as well....
