That's like saying that jazz/blues music is inexorably linked to reefer and heroin because its forthfathers were heavy consumers and no doubt influenced by thoses substances at the time. Today that argument has no more bearing, at least for me.
[/quote]
and maybe thats why todays jazz isnt as good as the bebop days!! well at least to me who prefer the rather dark, melancholic, raw and visceral music instead of todays technical dextrity and clean production

You will never catch me!
The are still good full on being release, the only problem is to find it.
Avoid the bad and formulistic full on, and keep your mind open for the good stuff.
If all DJs play only the Killa unbearable stuff, stop going to these parties.
Bashing whole genres is not the answer...

There is some good full on out there and even more amazing music that borrows both progressive and full on techniques. Opens your ears and dont let your ego tell you that what you listen to is the 'true' psychedelic music. Remember... its just vibrating air particles at the end of the day

bash bash... Ironic enough, complaining about things DOES help. So there's been a lot of beh'ing and bitching about "Full-On". It helps, less people listen to Full-On now then 6 months ago. Just look at the country Norway. people over there complain about EVERYthing, even though they have it GOOD. Result is that they get it better. Complaining is a bitch, sorry (who's sorry?) to say that it helps. Everything's been said before
There's nothing left to say anymore
When it's all the same
You can ask for it by name
Babble, Babble, Bitch, Bitch
Rebel, Rebel, Party, Party
Sex, sex, sex, and don't forget the violence
Blah, blah, blah
Got your lovey-dovey sad and lonely
Stick your stupid slogan in
Everybody sing along
Babble, Babble, Bitch, Bitch
Rebel, Rebel, Party, Party
Sex, sex, sex, and don't forget the violence

'And what is the dj doing in the forest?' asked Zarathustra. The dj answered: 'I make full-on tracks and play them; and when I make tracks, I laugh, cry, and hum: thus do I praise God. With singing, crying, laughing, and humming do I praise the god who is my god. But what do you bring us as a gift?' When Zarathustra had heard these words he bade farewell and said: 'What could I have to give you? But let me go quickly lest I take something from you!' And thus they separated, the old one and the man, laughing as two boys laugh.
But when Zarathustra was alone he spoke thus to his heart: 'Could it be possible? This old dj in the forest has not yet heard anything of this, that full-on is dead!'

"What? Kill full on? You damn hater! PLUR motherf**ker!" - No wait, before you start attacking me with your glowsticks, please listen to what I have to say.
You see, in old Goa, there wasn't so much amphetamines and coke going around at parties. Instead there was a lot of psychedelic drugs, like acid and good weed, so people actually cared about the music they listened to.
Now, what did this mean for the music? Well, embrace yourselves, because I'm about to reveal a great secret: back in those days, there were _different_ basslines in every song! Can you believe it? Well it's true! Back in the days, there wasn't any fear of being glowsticked to death for not using the same fucking bassline in every god damn track on every album you produced. And you know what? The music was about 50 billion times better than it is today! See the connection?
Yes... follow the light.
Now that you have been enlightened, you must do something. Fear not, I also have the solution for this full on-plague. It's actually very simple:
For listeners: stop listening to full on.
For producers: stop making full on.
For speed-freaks: smoke weed.
For coke-freaks: drink pepsi.
You have been given the message. Now embrace it, and we shall rejoice!
I have spoken.

There is good music and there is bad music within every Genre.........
All you are doing is spreading negativity.
Full On is evolving by the minute , and you should be thankfull that it's attracting thousands of new followers every year.
This guarantees a bright future for Psy Trance Parties Worldwide.

In the absence of what you arn't,what you are is nothing.
If you want to feel yourself alive,existing..you need somthing to be the oposite of what you are/belive etc.
so what do you thing will happen when full on is no longer exists?does your music gets better?will you feel better?
there is a place for all ganers of music in this world..you trance folks should know that since you have an open mind,no..with all of the psychedelic mind expanding drugs??
insted you talk like primitive-kill the full on..come on..mind your buisness..listen to somthing else.
for me full on is just an oposite for other styles..and this is a good thing-like love and hate, good an bad etc..
by the way-prgressive is also the same thing..dark to(for prog lovers)do you get what i meen?? |
