psy trance isn't about drugs but about music.
get out of this scene it's not for you. here we like to are in peace with ourselves and others. what others listen, where they live, what drugs they take, what culture they're from doesn't matter until this dark minorities show up being elitists. there are only two elites in psy trance... skazi and darkers. can't you listen to dark and just shut up as the normal darker does?
"full on is for speedys and cokies" is another shit without sense. most party people take acid doesn't matter the music style. you should go to parties more often.
and what is the problem against cokers and speedys? do they make funny faces? you will too when you end up in the psychiatry hospital.
get a life... trance is about respect. if you want to kill something go hunting...

Psy-trance was born from hallucinogenic/psychedelic "drugs" as LSD, Mushroom, Mescaline, DMT.. Well, at least LSD played a very important role in the birth of Goa trance. I guess Mushrooms as well. And psy-trance isn't about ..music" It's about the cosmic. It's about something outside our reality of time, space and room. If you cant see this, then get out of our scene. Chemicals have no place in our hearts. Psychedelic trance is about psychedelic plants and visions. It's a mind setting few can and will understand. ... eh, e-motion. People takes more acid then chemicals at parties (where??), full-on is NOT created by and with chemical heads? Maybe, and maybe not. Can we call it straight trance? The psychiatry hospital? I dont pretend to understand or even bother much about the dark music. Please dont pretend to be an expert on House. As said before in this topic. You probably dont even know 5% of house anyway. |

Soul/vocal aka "gay"-house really is (imo) bad bad bad (xtc/ghb/straight) music. But give me deep-house, and I'm all; "Oh my god, this is deeper and more psychedelic then most "psytrance".. mm mmm mmmMM!! GREAT music. =>

A gigantic goat's head at a party complete with upside down pitchfork would be a welcome change from all this shiva shanti shit I keep on seeing...
But back on topic, I don't see why people can't get into their thick skulls that BAD music exists in ALL genres and subgenres and subsubgenres... etc.

I'm sorry psytones but I don't agree with your last statement, because although I agree that beginning goa/psytrance is a spawn of psychedelic drugs, hippy culture and 80s digital synths, I don't believe that today they are necessarily intertwined nor interdependant. That's like saying that jazz/blues music is inexorably linked to reefer and heroin because its forthfathers were heavy consumers and no doubt influenced by thoses substances at the time. Today that argument has no more bearing, at least for me. |

sorry but psytrance is just music,all you describe is just the way you choose to use this music as a tool for your psychedelic experiences ...silence can also be experienced as cosmic under psychedelics,music, nature , everything...it doesn't mean they are "out of our reality of time, space and room", only the experience is, don't make the amalgam... |

well ... house sucks!!
i didnt like electronic music because of this genre or any subgenre. in fact i thought i would never like dance music altogether, if it wasnt for that night i listened to total eclipse live. i respect people liking house, but saying that everyone should appreciate it but whatever reason, is total bull.
And no one is killing full on.. its commiting suicide!!
