Mix is a bit crazy in general, crashes are too loud and the synths and sound fx eat up much of your bass/kick.

Try cutting the frequencies bellow 200hz with an EQ all the synths and sound FX.Then up too 10k or whatever sounds good, that way they won't interfere with you kick/bass. |

I think your super reverby perc is cool, but it is too loud, similar with the second theme (2:30), there is too much reverb going on, I think it makes the mix sound to distant and it loses its intensity. when the kbb comes in this is great, very cool sounding, but again I think you have a few sounds that are too loud and bassy and they take over the bass. llama's advice about 200hz cuts should sort most of that out.

the 2nd version is a little better, but the general problem is still there. too much reverb, some percussive elements are too loud, and some synth sounds jump out too much, while the kick and bass are too low in the mix.
also, the step part is MUCH more interesting than the prog part. if i were you, i would concentrate more on developing your psychedelic dubstep style. maybe occasionally throwing some prog into it, if you really feel like mixing the two. it seems like you just have a more natural knack for that.
good stuff.
