Hey,

Does anyone know if there is a free online resource for progressive psy or psy trance midi, it would really be handy to help build arpeggio patterns and main leads.

What do u mean by layer scale?

I been making hard trance a long time so find it hard to make psy/progressive melodies, just wanted to visualize progressions.

what he means is the line has to be drawn somewhere. maybe we should hold your hand too? make your own

if you find it hard, work hard!

No hand holding needed, I have a good grasp of production and I want to make original sounding tracks, but I cannot seem to make very psy sounding melodies, too much harder music in the past, midi would be useful to see where I am going wrong.
Or maybe I'm just trying to over complicate things!
here is a current project,

sorry i come across like an arse... i just ment in your DAW use ya paino roll.. draw sum bars over a serouse of say 8 - 16 alternate and change notes within the scale, pick sum notes you like within the scale, layer the favourite ones.... dark? sad? happy? trippy? the best arp ive come across is probly sylenths.... then tweak alter it to ya choosin...

can make your own without the arp... better that way as u got more control of the space between the note, the length and overall quantization of it to get the feeling groove...

then again u ment it without the arp any way..

just that askin for midi patterns wel u mayasel download dance ejay while u at it and compile someone elses song 2gther...

was a very clever and manipulative way to make a buck that was at the time... look at em now, they havnt released anything for over 10 years or so..... probly coz people like myself realized at the time that it could all be done with a synthesizer and a piano roll ...
