im with all my thumbs UP FOR IT !!
i belive in mutation and colloboration between styles.. esspecially proogy house and proogy trance.. its sounds very good together and let me say u something - its same..
also there is alot new music that u cant define by any style.. nukem and chab collobaration is a best example for it..
also some labels already release things that house and trance in the same time..
only blind man can think that there is still trance or house scene without collobaration between them..
i like very much than dj's play both styles together, mixing its well and u get nice,sweet mixture of new taste...

i think a good example to the kind of fusion you talk about is the party that you where playing 2 month ago in lilinbloom 25 along with boriss and some other dj which i dont know his name.
it was starting on the more comercial house by this unknown dj, then boriss move into progressive house, and you change it into more techno trance.
shure techno go good with house, and house goes good with trance, im not shure if not all been said already in that combination, son kite are shure the first example jump to my head combining this generes.

Progressive house is a very interesting genre in music. Lately I've been hearing a bit of tech-house, and I wish more techtrance artists would sit down and hear this music (Spirallianz - Spotrunners is a brilliant example of this). Housey influences have done trance a lot of good, the grooves we hear nowadays are very moving, intelligent and smooth.
Progressive is the name of the game? Not entirely. Groove is.

Try this records: "Pantytec - Pony Slaystation". it's a good example of Micro house, and it's a great release imo! Apart from that, it has some moments which remind me of some proggressive psytrance releases...

microhouse is not in any way connected to the filth of what i see as progressive house.
its mainly takes its inspiration from the old house from chicago not from progresive stuff. what makes it micro is that most producers r doing beats and sounds from glitch or IDM so u have this weird combination. also some detroit influences
pantytec is good example but their cd is not too good. better to get only the 12"
if u want to hear some good microhouse on cds u can try any album mathew herbert or the mix cd andy weatherall did for force tracks.
again don`t say microhouse is progressive since both things r not conected and never will be!
