Review:

Some words about this. This compilation is compiled by Alexander Ligowski. You know him as DJ Alex, previously compiling the Tantrance and Pulse compilations. Here he's compiled a whole lot of groovy Progressive tracks. And what tracks he did choose! These are really great... There is all kinds of groovy stuff here, and laidback stuff as well. (Check cd2, 1,2,7 for instance) Really great. CD1 is more funky and has more pounding tracks with a minimal feel to it. CD2 is where most of the gems are, melodic and laidback most of the time. I won't go into detail on every track, because it would just take too long. Anyway, I really like this compilation, since it brings great progressive tracks, and this time not by psytrance related artists at all. Nice for a change. It does say Goa Trance on the cover though. I'm not quite sure why that is the case, since it's just regular progressive trance here. Correction: GREAT regular progressive trance. Alex really knows his stuff and he knows how to pick gems from an overproduced scene... Both cd's are over 75 minutes long, and all tracks are full versions, albeit mixed over in one another. But that's no bother in this case, since there is nothing chipped away in the process.

In short: If you're in love with progressive trance, pick this up!! 9/10 from me here.

nice one, alot of deep trance here.. the only problem of YSE double compilations is that (i dunno for sure but im prety sure about it) the trax been released on different labels on vinyls and guys at YSE do not make a mastering to whole cds, and every track have different sound and level.. i have some of this tunes on vinyl and its sounds so much better..
but choices very good, my fav are - dj leo tune and central rush, realy deep ones.           Believe your soul !

Hey Zombi, this one is mastered by Four Carry Nuts at their awesome studio. At least that's what it says in the booklet. This is one hell of a mastering they did here. It sounds really crisp and great! And each and every track sounds well mastered and it's all at the same volume level. Hope that answers your question.

There's either anything wrong with your copy, or with your hearing... This is NOT lame mastering! How could it be? Four Carry Nuts have an excellent studio and mastering reputation to uphold.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment.
