Sensient, Sun Control Species, Shadow FX, Tetrameth, Freq, Decoy would be the true "masters" of the aussie scene-
although there are lots of new prodcuers making some really amazing tunes, Autonomech, Sensum, Meltdown, Phat Controllerz, Eegor, the list goes on...
And of course from NZ, you got the MASTERS antix!!! and guys like Embark (mockie) hes from NZ but lives in aus now too (kinda like freq)
Australia is where the real prog is at these days if you ask me...

You would be suprise what treats can be discovered in the deep dark bedrooms of some feral carnie folk over here. NZ is about to spawn the second wave of progressive, minimal and electro aritists.

Cusp..mate..you are right up there with Cosm and Grouch - id like to add myself to the list of prog/electro producers but not too sure if you have to of being born here to qualify  ...there are also a few hidden gems that will be exposed towards the end of the year but we will keep that secret for now |

sorry mate but Sensum has been producing psy for a long while(former known as Tantrumz)and so have Phat Controllerz....

Open Records is in co-operation with a few aussie progressive artists now- DJ Eegor from Sydney is making a step into the production realm- his first track is available on our debut comp - Slow-Release in a few weeks.
We are also presenting Embark- the new moniker/sound of minimal act Mockie. Originally from NZ, he now resides in Australia and is making some amazing music. We are proud to release his remix of antix-lelascard on Slow-Release, in my opinion its one of the stronger tracks.
Speaking of strong tracks- Wombat is the new project from Drew Davidson aka Sun Control Species. It represents a deeper, more emotional afternoon sound of this master producer and all-round nice guy, i really am proud to have this new direction explored with Open Records.
we have a few more aussie surprises up our sleeve once we announce the next round of releases, hope everyone is as keen on their music as we are.
