Eighteen post views and ten track listens but no comments...? Ditto my previous post which dropped off the first page after two days.

I always listen to and post comments on at least 5 or 6 tracks every time I upload something myself - (I don't want to be prescriptive but I think that should be rule that everybody) - but not even these people bother to comment. If my tune is crap just say its crap. I really need to know that. Saying anything more than that is a bonus...

Thanks,
Andre

PS What I am going to do in future when I upload something is to start my 5 or 6 comments on posts on page one which have zero comments and then move on to posts with only one comment etc.

Its up to you, guys...

chill out dude!
you´v made a good work, imho you just have to make correction on the flow an progression of the track, it´s a bit boring, otherwise it´s nice! keep it going and show us what you´r realy made of, yeah?!

I understand what you're saying, i even come here and review when i don't post, and i'ts nice hearing what other people have to say about the tracks we put so much love and effort into, even more if it is a negative review, it hurts, but makes us going deeper.
I'm hearing at work on some crappy heaphone but what jumps out are the hats, they seem too high in volume and very crisp, later when i'm at home i'll say something more rights?

Well,

I only comment if I have something of value to give to the original poster, which is very little usually because I´m a n00b, or when I really like something to give encouragement. And I never comment on styles of music I don`t like, i.e. I would never comment on darkpsy because even for the most professional producer like Kindzdza the comment would be "OMG, this sounds like what the insides of a porta-potty smell and look like on Acid "

But, since you are really looking for opinions and complaining that no one answers, here it is, my totally unqualified analysis of your track:

The whole track sounds very messy to my ears, you should work on the EQíng and panning, there are too many similar sounds layered on top of each other going straight through the middle. Also, all the sounds are very bright and it sounds like you applied too much boost above 5000 HZ, leading to a cold and fatiguing soundscape (which might be your goal). I would introduce some warmer, "mushier" sounds and cut the high frequencies, but this just IMHO.

Also the arrangement doesn`t make sense to me, I`m not getting the story you are trying to tell here. And as other have mentioned, the HH`s are too bright, and sometimes it sounds like the percussion is a tiny bit out of phase, but that could just be soundclouds pro-style encoding destroying yet another piece of music. However, I love that snare you chose, the moment when it kicks in is great, especially because it goes really well with that old-school bassline which I also like because of its rough sounds.

See, now I sounded like a complete asshole, that`s why i never comment very much, especially because i really don`t know what I`m talking about because other around here are much better producers than me. But you asked for it, and I hope it helps

Hey Aje, no, you don't sound like an asshole. This is very valuable feedback for me. It would be for anyone who uploads a track. Thank you.

You Didn't sound notting as an asshole, it is precious advice, and u make very cool sounds.
That said, i've been doing something with my percussion, so i have 2-3 loops going on, what i do is, i put Voxengo Span on all of them and analize the frequencies they are hitting, then with my leads and pads and fx's e use the same Voxengo Span and with EQ i remove a bit of the frequencies those percussion are hitting, and i work my sounds that way, don't know if it is the right way but it seems things sound nicer that way and they don't sound too loud.

Thanks Nomad, I'll try that. In the mean time I have worked a bit on the mix and uploaded a new file.

Cheers

Hey there. I just listened to it.
First of all i like your style and the feeling of the tune and i can also understand that you've put some effort there. What i think is missing though is some variety and by that i don't mean more stuff (you got plenty - except some different percussion maybe) but some automation here and there. Play with some filters, reverbs, delays. It's a nice way to introduce stuff in the track or make a pass to another part of it (maybe you can use a longer break also somewhere in there).
Also i have to say i don't like the sound of kick and bass. Kick feels hollow and not bassy enough and the bass sounds too dry for my taste and not bassy enough also. They sound kind of oldschool (especially in the middle part where the bassline changes). What you could try is layer another more subby bass that would play 'below' your kickbass combo or a copy of your bass synth (but highpassed) with some reverb-bitcrush-chorus on it - i think it would be fun to try.
Also, noone's mentioned till now but there are leads and pads that play completely out of tune to eachother causing disharmony. For instance at around 3:20 and towards the end of the track after the last break things get really messy. There's perhaps some lead playing an arp that's not in the scale you use and also some fm leads (synth1 maybe?) that turn the tune into a salad made out of musical notes (and salads aren't always tasty)
All in all it's nice though, i'd like to see some progression.

Cheers!            Peace, Love, Death metal

Thanks for your comments, Diskonekt. Much appreciated. I will definitely try out your bass suggestions.
