im not so shure about that homsy, i think that some of those people we discussed, the israeli crowd i ment, took major part in the development of trance sound some years ago,
true now while trance progress into so many sub genres its enters into more sofisticated audience, but its basis influences are still primitives.

Uzi - what you just wrote is true and it has nothing 2 do with what I wrote before.
Music like most things in this world developes in time, through people technology, mistakes etc...
Take a car for instance - there were days that the best car availlable couldnt exceed 5kmH - time passed, technology and research progressed and today any ordaniry car can slam 100kmH +++
Same with music
We all said the same things here using different words.

Olli it's an interesting subject u raised here, anthropologically speaking... 
I wont add nothing to b on the PC side... But I say this... In many many parties music choice made the selection that couldn't b done @ the door.

i wasn't describing them in any way, i was trying 2 ask a theoretical question as a viewer without taking sides. i use the term "arsim" 2 unite them as a group just 4 the discussion. offcourse each and one of the participants of the group is an individual like anybody alse.
now, since most of u give the arsim no credit in progress in trance music, i'll change my question a bit.
do u think party organizers prefer progress lineup over Full-On lineup as one way of preventing Arsim from coming? or is choosing the lineup is simply an artistic/friends/budget planning?
can anyone second Yuli on this topic?

so something IS different about their culture . tho I dont mind seeing em in parties, they are funny but just different group of ppl who like electronica!

listen i can't deny theres a diffrence between kinds of ppl in israel, thats why i also call them arsim (some of them call themselves this way)..
but i still don't understand what they do so bad in parties that u wanna get rid of them so much..
as well said, we r a small country!
we should all stick together after all, these "segrergations" are not well to anyone..

arsim likes what everybody says its good..
i remember some years ago when the psytrance was just started after the goa and i liked infected mushroom, and i remember that arsim hated it..
they say all the time.. "ichs ani sone psychodali" (yuck, i hate psychedelic trance) and now all of the arsim listening to this music..
and they like infected mushroom and they like full on israely trance..
but this is now after that the music went one step forword..
what im trying to say is that arsim only has a lag in their mind.. if they hear a kind of music that they didn't know about it before they wont like it, they like only what they know..
and im saying that in a year, arsim will like progressive too..
there are some arsim that likes progressive and they will tell their arsim friends that its a good music and then the other arsim will like it too, cause someone already told them if its good or not..
it might be because they don't want to like music that their friends wont like so they just hate it untill they will know that other arsim likes it..

Also I think as people started taking more drugs each year, I mean,
it's more common to see "arsim" on XTC ,
so they look around for "ptzatzot" , aka, beats ... they can't take it in mtv clubs cause after two house tracks the d.j changes it back to mtv, so they find their satisfaction in a party full of hard beats to da mind.
same reason why you and I like trance parties 
Conclusion: arsim are cool ,
but ,a bit of delayers in progress , trend-seekers , period
