can u relate in a way the evolution in trance music into new categories as an attempt 2 find trance music that will attract less arsim.
i know i'm throwing a wild shot here, and offcourse that i'm aware that every form of music has it's own natural evolution, like in the Darwin theory, but r the arsim one of the factors that caused the development in order 4 the music 2 survive?

arsim doesn't stop the music from survive..
or mabe i didn't understand you.. u guess that more intelligent music was invented for
the arsim ppl to see it's too intelligent for them and leave it?
i am sure that big trance makers of progressive will not consider such thing as factor of how their music will sound like
the reason for turn to deeper stages are just
because of desire of the listeners to find more
in trance music..

This thread is so pointless and i will prove you why.
Music is produced by artists,artists produce new kinds of music just to be original and to express their feelings through music so how can you say that an artist makes music just to prevent arsim people from listening to his kind of music?
Artists make music for the people and not to prevent people from it whether they are arsims or not.I would say though that they even make better music just to put some brain at those arsims

When Haldolium played in Israel for the first couple of times in Israel, the arsim simply WEREN'T THERE. When Buddha Source gave an ultra-progressive set at 10AM, the few arsim that remained just drove away. Progressive was created as a new style that brought trance lightyears forward. Trance moved from an uplifting style (goa trance) to a very psychedelic style (psy) and then the power took the front row (power).
But a lot of the people who started out as psy acts really, really missed the fact that other than power, trance has a lot to offer and that's it's greatest strength. ManMadeMan, Tristan, Psychopod, Shiva Chandra, Electric Universe, Vibrasphere... This was a counter culture created by people who wanted to bring back to the spotlight the other qualities of trance that were ignored by acts like GMS. All of these acts weren't progressive when they started.
Well, Israel isn't the only country in the world with arsim. BUT, let's admit it... Arsim are more of the "yalla tnu barosh" or "transim milchama" styles (in English "more power" or "war trance", only said in a stupid way)... Progressive isn't just about more power. It's definately not 100% aggressive, but rather subtle in the way it builds up.
Progressive wasn't created because of arsim. It was created because some acts thought that full-on isn't the only way. But let's drop the politically correctness for a minute, and admit the ugly truth. Yes, parties that are progressive tend to be with less arsim in them.

This has nothing to do with color, this has something to do with attitude. There's a different attitude to progressive music, and I prefer the crowd that connects to that over a big chunk of the crowd in Alien Project's (for instance) sets.

i actually react to the first Q been asked by olli,
but to your respond, what i try to say, if i drop the colour definition of the crowd (shure its not making this thread less focused on seperation) i think that arsim (that's better) not realy checking what music the dj playes while they enter a party, they mostly enjoy whats there.
shure a well promoted party with the name of x-dream, alien, gms, juno reactor printed on flouro paper and hanged on each poll will bring other crowd then shu shu party with a closed circle progy project party.
i stayed focoused on colour finaly, ehh?

Btw, arsim don't come for the music, so stop living in illusions
no matter what's playing - if they hear about it , they will be there.
I know some arsim that I see at parties and each time I am surprised and ask them how did they know about the party... they never do tell, but when I ask them if they enjoy the particular artist they do try to impress me with sucha commercial names like Yahel, infected etc...

PPeople - lets not forget the size of our country (israel) in comparison with the rest of Z globe.
developing different style to reach different people is bullocks
Arsim are a part of this country, you publicize a gig - they will also come.
What makes you something better than the average ars? - As I recall you both have 2 legs 2 ears and possibly one mouth
i know that arsim are a problem but going so far as thinking that music is changing because of them is giving them a bit more credit than they deserve.
