Well, i've been using softwares now for soon 7 years!
I cant say im any good, and i barely know how to play a keyboard well!
But my productions are beginning to show some result!
I've gotten alot of positive feedback from many people now, and i want to move up to doing a Live act!
But what is the equipment i need?
Or should use?
I was having in Mind a midi controller or something!
And another question, i make my tracks with mostly cool edit and Fruity Loops (with plugins)!
But i cant play directly from Fruity Loops on any Gig since there are to many elements causing the track to be abit...crap, so what program should i work live with?
Where i can import my tracks(or parts of them)
And add an element where i can play with over the track?
Im very new to this hardware stuff, even though i really want to learn more!
(Im just broke as fuck)
So i need advice on what i can do to improve my career!
Thanks in advance!
Peace

To be totally honest, I don't think you're ready to play live if you don't know how things are usually done.
All you absolutely NEED to play live is a laptop and some sort of low noise stereo output. A nice laptop with Ableton Live, audio interface with at least 2 stereo outs (4 mono), and any MIDI controller with a decent amount of knobs or faders (preferably both) is a pretty standard setup.
How "live" your performance is is up to you..everyone here will argue endlessly about what constitutes an actual live act, so don't even ask. You can import individual loops to Live and play and rearrange them on the spot or just play your finalized tracks and mess around with FX and mixing techniques.
See the tutorials Live comes with, Tom Cosm's Ableton tutorials and anything else you can find on Youtube to help you get started using Live.
Some people play live, to use the term loosely, with NI Traktor, a more DJ oriented alternative to Live too.
Hope that helps, and good luck.

Thanks alot Kane!
Yeah i was looking into Ableton Live, i have stationary pc(a pretty powerful one)
But yeah, I really do need a laptop!
And you're right, im not ready!
I just need to know what i can work on to make a proper Live act!
As in for now, i could try NI Traktor or Ableton to mix my tracks together?!
Wont be much of an Live act, but I live in Iceland and there's no Psy here at all so no competition!
I could just borrow a laptop from my psy mates here, and play with them!
I really want to be a self taught psy artist, i've been into production for a long time with many programs!
And i've learned quite alot!
So what i need to practice with:
Ableton Live
Laptop
Midi controller (with Knobs n faders)
External soundcard
Thanks alot man!
I'll be checkin those tutorials out!

No problem, and yes, Traktor or Ableton will do for mixing. Traktor will be better and easier for a strictly "DJ" type setup. Ableton isn't as easy to DJ with but will be better as far as creating a more "live" live act.
