How do you organize and execute your music production schedule? Do you have one? I know it's a rare thing to be able to plan out a full work week of production - but assuming that you had that opportunity, how would you schedule it for yourself to maximize productivity? Or even if you don't have the opportunity to put in a full work work, how would you schedule the time you do have?
I find that when I just say 'ok, from x to y time is "studio" time I often find myself wandering off, not staying focused and at the end of my time I'm wondering if I've accomplished anything at all. Sure some sessions are very fruitful, but it seems possible that a more structured approach would be beneficial and help reinforce good output and attentiveness.
For instance, have a dedicated time for piano practice, patch creation/sound design on a synth you know well, learning a plugin you haven't mastered yet, song writing, mixing, arranging etc. I know that doing all of those every day would probably be a bit busy and some of those have overlap - just throwing out some ideas.
Thoughts?

creativity doesnt fit in a schedule, the technical side does... to an extend.
So once the ideas are there you can time manage youre technical package.
I never worked that way, but i'm far from pro.

I've actually been trying to do something like this the past week and I'm using paymo.biz to keep track of time. You make a project, make a task list, you set how much time you want to spend on it and then use the timer to punch in and out as if you were at a job.
So far it's helped me get my sample folder organized.
I guess it can be used to set aside time to work on specific aspects of track, need to work on first break... need to mix track... new lead..
