Ahhhh thanks so much dude! I really, really need to sort out treatment in my room because I'm always doubting my bass and whether or not its sounding too huge. Chopped up that lead around 1:45 to give it a bit of glitchy swing.
Will keep the previews coming as they happen, would absolutely kill to get an illustrator on board for a kind of Principles Of Flight style graphic novel for the insert.

Well I think its a good track so far, I would like to hear it when you reach the climax section Technically I just think theres something weird with the bass eq, and also imo you can lower decay, or idk maybe thats the sound you were looking forr.. Good Luck!! ProtoDrive https://soundcloud.com/protodrive

Thanks for the feedback, in regards to bass eq I've got a wide Q cut at around 800hz to take out the nasaly sound, LP at around 3.5khz then some small, narrow cuts at 60hz, 120hz and around 250hz, sounds tight on my monitors but my room could be lying to me.
yeah in the monitors, maybe you're cutting too much at 800hz and it's taking some of the tone of the A note out in the bass. Try messing around with the gain on that EQ, or try a higher EQ band sweeping around with a narrow Q until you find the upper octave A, and raise that a bit and see if you like it there.
