What are the basic programs, hardwares, softwares needed to produce.
Is it true that software is more essential then hardware?
Any people who have been producing and can guide me?

u can use
1) CUBASE SX
2) Fruity loops
3) Reason 2.5
4) Acid pro
5) Traktor Dj studio ( one of my fav for mixin )

hey mates....
yea even i was trying to get some info coz i also wanted to try my han at producing some tunes.....in any case....except for fruity loops(coz every tom dick n harry has it!)...
where do u get hold of the rest....?
please do enlighten us with some info

u can get dese softwares frm da net but dey will b trial softwares so u can jus use dem for a few days.
would suggest u to buy dem...
ull get pirated copies frm heerapanna and sumwhere near churchgate station!

dont use cracks...
it would really fun to go around and collect live samples too.
dont just stick to recorded loops... record some of your own.
you could get a friend who plays an istrument to come and help u out.
Reason is a good deal.
Acid pro is coooooool
reason though is very pink.
all you need is a comp, a synth may be
good monitors, sound cards or just amps.
you could sound proof your room using ganni bags

cubase sx is good
logic
reason
neundo are good to
fruity is a basic programm through which most of the people learn about production
like the soceress said it would be more fun if u recorded ur own samples by getting a friend who plays an instrument to help u out
also if u have a midi keyboard and a synth would be more fun in producing
monitors and a good sound card is essential if ur trying to do this for just more then fun
have a good productive and creative time

firstly - equipment and production section, thats what its for.
second - fruity loops is not just for basic production, until recently i have been using only fruity loops - and i know a lot of pro artists that use it.
as for monitors/synth etc.. - theres plenty of good software synths out there, start with that and a decent pair of speakers. work from there |
