i might smoke about 1 spliff per hour (1sph) but it's very weak and mainly tobacco... |

used to smoke everyday...used to drop acid. one day something was "tweaked" in my mind and everytime i smoked i got panic attacks and really fucked feeling...miss the feeling of making music high...lots of ideas and muse. never gave up making music though even when sober... once in a while i smoke a spliff just to get the "stoned" listenr's prespective. this is not an anti drug post those of you who enjoy it.. rock on!!!

Seems like most people agree...
This is music for altered mind states after all... well arguable but you know, all the trance concept is really friendly to mild intoxication.
I can't think of a better way to enjoy tweaking synths knob, understanding and feeling what it is doing to an electronic produced air vibration... whoa... that's trippey.
Anyway i tend not to smoke on some of the process, then if i did right what i had to do i congratulate myself - ~ ~ and enjoy.
No wonder why most of us literally fall in love with production. |

I wouldn't say alcohol improves anything related to producing music or whatsoever.
When I drink enough alcohol my hearing goes way down. |

I actually produce best when not under influence, but have been spending alot of hours producing while under influence of GHB or alcohol.
Tried LSD once, but couldnt figure out how to use my programs... Guess the dose was abit to large...
