i am a upcoming trance producer (before i made drum & bass) and i am searching for the right kickdrum/ bass combination!
i have used a lot of kickdrum samples bu no one was perfect.

Hoi Hans Nice to see you around here, and nice to see that you go straight for the tough stuff... There are many solotions to solving the kick-bass puzzle and if you come up with an original approach you could be starting a new trend in psychedelic trance. Use the search for some tips 'n trips (oops...tricks)

baisicly u need it to sound good.

if u look for rules here is some:

set kick to -7db
set bass to -7db
when they play together it should get to -3db
then it is good mix if combained gets less or more then -3 try tweek the eq .           www.sattelbattle.com
