i'm kinda new to cubase stuff and got two probs. first: i dont know how to arrange, for example, a kickbass in a linear 4/4 beat, it seems that i have to make a whole pattern with a cubase extern sequencer to arrange it properly...second: i dont know how to change the bpm from 120.00 to, for example, 140.00 bpm...
pls answer, i really want to work with cubase, i work with fuityloops now.
thx a lot

1. Draw bars in the arrangement window. Double click them, and you get the piano roll. Now depends on the instrument you use, you draw the notes on each beat. You should see it by the lines, and numbers on top. Now all you do is just copy paste it.
2. There are 2 ways to accomplish it: Either you turn off the Master button, or you go to the master track (somewhere in the menus, don't have Cubase right here) and change it from there. I prefer to do it from the master track.

As for the second question here is the answer:
Go to project menu and click on tempo track and on the top of the window that will appear you have the track tempo and you can change it to waht ever you want. |
