Im having problem to make my hihatloops
fit one pattern in fruity loops. If i program by hand there´s
no problem. But when i want some more groove
in my hihats then i record from my keyboard.
The problem is then that i don´t know how
i can make it fit into one pattern so i can
easily put in the arrangewindow.
The reason is because the live recorded hihat notes falls just before the first beat
and some afterward the 4´th beat, it´s kind of hard to explain so maybe i can add a picture which shows the notes.I´ve tried to figure out how i can solve this problem a long time.Maybe some of you experts can help me.
Best regards Conny

you can decide how long each pattern is.. (4 is usual/boring hehe , try 6 , 3 , and more ...)

in a 4/4 rythem a 6 or 3 paterns duration will not fit in a continues loop its better to make a normal 4/4 loop and than add in a difeerent pattern the extra hit or whatever so it can play exactly where u want it!

1 of fl biggest limitations is time signatures beyond 4/4!

record in loopmode. go to songmode. then mark two or more bars then you want to record.record live. then go to pianoroll and cut your best played passage to put it in an new pattern or fit it to the rest of patterns.

p.s. buy all what you can buy and do no discussion about different sequencers in this thread. with other sequencers you got other problems or other solvings of them.

yeah ofcourse its possible when a track is only using 6 and 3 but when a track is using 4/4 try adding a 6 or 3 to the playlist in continus loop!

in the link there is file
the bass is 4/4 first half , then 6/4

the drumloop changes from 3/4 to 4/4 to 6/4
and then repeat with the other bass

sounds good to me , or didnt i got your Q right.. anything is possible once you remove the barrier in mind also loop dont have to be exacly like 4/4 bars , why not to make loops not 16 bars or 12 , but 10 or 9 ?

personly im getting more and more into it , and also bom changes that you cant realy feel , 111 and 148 , 108 amd 144 on the slow bpm kick come evry 3 steps , fuckin awsome try it , makes hell of change in groove

sound weird , but i think thats the point

also its baisicly 17/8 , but i found my own way..
i understand the difficulty as they mention in kvr forum.. but im oki with that , always find way for my song to sound as i like to.. but use mostly 4/4

either way , the 111<148bpm is cool for sure try it thats the most important and sound simple inough to be catchy           www.sattelbattle.com
