Hi
what i notice is, 2 things happend when i record the vb1 from midi to audio.
1. it looks like there is a delay in the signal(as we all know it,latency.
so, how you guys do it ?
do you sample the vb1?
do you use the delay function on the audio channel?if so, how you ajust it?

2.the second thing that i notice is that the recording in audio sounds like the bass has lost power of the low end and it sound like its cut or something like that(i can not tell what is it).
can somebody put some light on me?

dont know about your second question, but about your first one, even once recorded you continue to mess with the bass, cut up a few loops of it and fix each single note's placement to the exact snap.

In Cubase you can add a negative delay to a midi channel to correct for latency or just push your bass closer to your kick...

Uhh, rather than try to describe where the fuck the control is, I'll put a screenshot instead...

http://hateatron.com/Junk/mididelay.png where it says -3.

Someone from psy-forum showed us this, it is neat to put a like, -3 or -5ms delay on your midi bassline, I always do it now.
