Hello
I have this very annoying problem in Logic. Ok, let's say i create a melody in the Matrix editor with the Pro-53 synth. And then i want to change the velocity on some notes. Here is were the problem comes in in the picture. It doesn't quite work like it should. The velocity gets changed on some of the notes I want to change (if i'm lucky) but the most isn't changed at all (I mean even the ones I want to). It's really unstable and annoying. Another thing which is interesting is that it on the contrary works great when I'm using a sampler instead. It's only when using the synths it doesn't work. Could it be something with to a slow computer, not enough ram? i have 1000 mhz and 256 mb ram. I'm using version 5.5 of Logic. |

Are you sure that you are configuring the synths' velocity correctly? There is no other reason why velocity wouldn't work...
Some synths which don't have velocity ON, won't react to any velocity values.

Johan, i haven't used the VSTs for very long, but 2 years back i remember the Native Instruments buggier with Logic [or otherwise?!]
i think it was because they began writing their tools as DirectX Instruments, and there are some differences between VSTi & DXi specs...
so beware in the future.
boom.
