Problem with nanokontroller and ableton

Hello people. I just bought a korg nanokontrol which i am going to use to play live.
The problem i am experiencing is that when i turn the knob(is only problem with the knobs not the sliders)to the half of its value, it goes up too the max.
So from 0-62(max value=127) it goes fine, then it goes up to 127 instantly.
If i try it in fruity loops, the knobs only can go from 1-50-100.
Very strange this, anyone have an idea whats going on?

Hey Grevinsky,
Is it a nanokontrol 2 or 1? I have a nanokontrol 2 and when I use it in ableton I HAVE to put it in ableton live mode, otherwise I get the same thing with jumping values.
On top of that, I've had issues with running it in cc mode. Try resetting the unit to factory settings.
Also, in ableton, if you want to customize the mapping, where it tells you to chose the MackieControl as the input, don't. Use a different one.
It's my understanding that this protocol is what allows it to automatically be mapped to Live's volume controls, pans, etc, but if you customize anything at all it will screw it up.

Thanks for the answer.
I think it was broken, thomann thought so atleast so i sent it back and bought a bcr2000 instead.
