brothers of mine...
i have a problem...im using a matrix to gate a sound ive synthed on a subtractor(say). i make different patterns on the matrix, create a sequencer track for the matrix and copy these patterns how i would like them....but the problem is, once i play from the sequencer, i aint gettin any sound man...
but if i keep the matrix on, then i get the gated sound, but only based on the pattern which is on the face of the matrix. i want to be able to use the same matrix to lay out different gate patterns...how is it possible to do that? am i doing something wrong here...which would be the best way?

make sure that the seq. track you're copying to is connected to your synth, not the matrix.
