Problem with Logic 5

Hi,
Im switching to logic from cubase, and already having some problems in the beginning:
setup:
intel p4-2.8/1gig/delta1010
problem:
whenever im trying to save project in logic 5 via "save as" it just instantly quits logic, while saving it via "save" works fine. so when it quits logic when i do "save as" i try to start it again it sais "This Program already running", and logic wouldnt start. after maybe 5 minutes, the whole system restarts. Could any1 please help me out, i would really appriciate any suggestions,

I can't think of anything mate.
I never had this happening - and I also use Delta drivers. Maybe it's something to do with your whole system?
ps: don't forget you had Cubase installed before 
 Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

i know such kind of problems........
you can use "save" and then copy the project files from the backup folder, and rename them. but this is just a way to escape the problem, not a decision... |

i know wich is your problem
first reinstall logic fomr your system , including registry !!!!!!
then if u dont use cubasse anymore deinstall it too , if u still using it , let it were he is , after deinnstallinng logic , restart you computer
then install logic 5.5 then restart
problem fix

Thank you guys, i tried everything , and... i figured it out!, i formatted but it didnt help, so i understood smth external gives error, so i checked - i had SATA hard drive with 150 seektime, logic didnt like it, as soon as i put ide hdd, it works just fine!, Thank you!
