Hi guys!
If i repeat some thread, sorry for that - let me see it...

I have this problem, i'm using just vst's and i am looking for some fat sounding synth especially for leads & pads (atmos, underlying textures). I have Mac OSX Tiger...
I have Albino3 that i recently used for leads but i noticed it has no bottom, just harshy hi-freqs...
What your oppinion guys?

Thanks!           Medulla Oblongata & Xibalba Festival Crew

Maybe try the Vintage Warmer on your leads and Pads..but not too much..could make the sound dirty sometimes..

good luck           -------......-------...-..-..-..-.-.-.-.-

this has to do with synthskills Albino is perfectly capable of ultrafat sounds with tons of low. Play around with the notes, add several oscillators, play with filter cutoff, resonance and saturation....

Yeah, I agree, Albino can really dish it out down low!

Possibly you are running to much sat on one of the filters. Mode 3 especially can make things very crispy, which can be really useful for buzzy weird background leads, but does kill the bass.

you can get "bassy" leads out of albino , just play with envelopes osc fx channels i'm sure you'll get something..just be carefull they don't get too much lows, then they will kill your bassline in the mix.

Add a sub osc on each oscilator, set your spread on each oscilator to a diferent range, really work the filters

u CAN get immensly fat sounds from albino
Vintage warmer does wonders           [[[G|L|I|T|C|H]]]

I thought the same about put the Vintage Warmer on it... Anyways i'll try to use all four OSC with subs and usings some filtering... Maybe also another chorus filter can help? to add some harmonics? What you think?
