Problem With Cubase SX and midi

i got this set, computer connected to JP8080 and the JP to midi keyboard.
1. when im using the midi through VSTi the is a problem, then im presing a Note i hear it after 2-3 second in the cubase...?
2. i got lots of problem with cubase, lots of times i get error msg and the program close itself...

what u hear in cubase after 3 secs is the audio - which takes time to calculate for ur pc until it plays it AKA latency.
You need to get ASIO drivers for ur card, or either get a new soundcard that supports ASio.
about 'lots of problems' - I can't help you on that one sorry. need to be more specific I think
