That i have noticed is the lack of slience between the tracks , can truly screw up ur set , 2 sec gap is no way enough imo

if you ask me, generally even the short gaps are not necessary. I think when all the tracks in the album is connected to each other, its more like a journey and doesnt just stop at a moment when you have connected to the music.
of course this is from a listeners perspective.           `Bottomless wonders spring from simple rules, which are repeated without end` Mandelbrot

their is more to mixin tunes that just mixin beats u know....my point is. when i mix in the next rec i usualy like to play the other out to the end ....at times ,and if it's got a quiet outro [ beatless ] . i can use that to change direction . add film sample or classical peice ...

and yes i can mix aje ..

Two seconds between each track should be enough for the things that you described time traveller, there are enough at least for any other dj on this planet.

Maybe you just cant mix that good time traveller

Keep practicing mate.          Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

I donno how about dj sets but when i played on the radio there was an option to play only one track and then to stop the playing entirely. I presume this option is common in dj CD players. Definately in the Denon ones.
Am i wrong here?           Everyone in the world is doing something without me
